Visiting members of the public vote for their favorite pieces in joinery, sculpture, turning and open categories. The locally made items are all available for sale.

When the show concludes July 27, ballots will be tabulated and the winner in each category will receive a $100 prize.

The overall top vote-getter will receive $250 and the People’s Choice Grand Award.

Ten percent of the show’s proceeds will be donated to Kohala Watershed Partnership. Coordinator Melora Purell works with local schools to use these funds in conjunction with sponsored field trips designed to teach students about the endemic environment and its restoration and preservation. Harbor Gallery has donated more than $27,000 to KWP over the past 3 1/2 years.

Pieces sold during the show remain on display until the show is over.

The gallery, located next to Cafe Pesto in Kawaihae, is open from 11:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. daily.
